Relocation of St Ives police office

Alert message sent 03/11/2021 14:00:00

Information sent on behalf of Devon and Cornwall Police

Message from Superintendent Thompson:
Devon & Cornwall Police is committed to providing sustainable and modern working conditions for officers and staff.  These must be fit for purpose, adaptable to future demands good value for money.
The old police office in St Ives was no longer fit for purpose and has been sold.
Your local police team will, however, still be based in the town and has relocated to temporary offices at Stennack Surgery.
The money raised from selling the old office will be reinvested to provide a permanent base in St Ives and more information will be released when it becomes available.
As the Commander for West Cornwall I’m committed to ensuring that our officers are visible and accessible and keeping a team base in the town is essential to delivering this commitment.
