Closure Notice

Alert message sent 06/10/2021 10:08:00

Information sent on behalf of Devon and Cornwall Police

Great news! This property in Bodmin has been closed down today following a successful application to court under s.80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014. This is the culmination of considerable amount of work to tackle and evidence the problems caused by the occupants of this property. It is also another excellent example of how we work together with our partners from Cornwall Council Anti-Social Behaviour Team, Cornwall Housing and the force legal department.
The closure order will remain in place for the next three months and nobody (with the exception of the landlord, Cornwall Housing, and representatives including Police) is allowed to enter. This will no doubt be excellent news for all local residents and sends a strong message to anyone who thinks this sort of behaviour is acceptable.
To those that shouted "THANK YOU" when we all left, your comments were gratefully received!
If you experience anti-social behaviour please email or call 101 for non-emergencies. In an emergency, ALWAYS call 999. If you have information about a crime you can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
