Thefts from vehicles - Mid and East Devon

We have received reports of thefts from vehicles in the Mid and East Devon area recently.
This has mainly taken place to vans, with power tools being the main items stolen.
The most recent report took place in (no street name) Copplestone, Crediton sometime between 3.10am and 3.40am on Friday 10 September 2021, Hitachi and Makita power tools were stolen.
Please review your security and consider removing tools from vehicles if possible. 
Anyone with information, offered any power tools or with CCTV in the area mentioned is asked to phone 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime CR/078595/21.
Please phone 999 if you believe a crime is taking place.
