Detectives investigating the circumstances that led to a man sustaining a minor wound to his leg in Barnstaple on Saturday 11 March are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. Police and ambulance were called to an address in Pulchrass Street, Barnstaple at 11.15pm. A male in his 30s received hospital treatment for a leg injury. Members of the public can expect to see a greater police presence, including from the neighbourhood policing team, as enquiries continue. Four people, a man and a woman, both in their 30s and from the Barnstaple area, and two people, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s, both of no fixed abode, have been released on police bail on suspicion of affray.
