Since the New Year, there have been a number of rural stores, newsagents, garages and similar businesses targeted for tobacco/vaping products and cash from tills in and around North Devon, the burglaries have taken place overnight/early morning.

The local policing team have been visiting these locations and other rural premises locally to raise awareness and also offer advice.

Please can we ask for similar businesses to be vigilant.

We ask for suspicious activity to be reported to 101, or 999 if you believe a crime is taking place, please make a note of descriptions and any vehicle registrations seen.
