Online shopping is growing ever so popular, and the delivery companies tend to leave the parcels on the doorstep, if no other delivery instructions have been provided, by the purchaser. Due to this, some parcels can be seen from the street, and opportunists will take advantage and take these parcels.
We've had a slight increase of reports from members of the public advising that parcels have been taken from doorsteps within the West and Devonport area of Plymouth. We would like you to be aware of this, and where possible to make instructions when purchasing or to the delivery company to either leave with a neighbour, or to reschedule for a different delivery date. CCTV and recording ringing doorbells are a deterrent. Thank you from your Devonport and West Neighbourhood Team
