Neighbourhood policing week of action : Day 4

Today PC Adam Pickin and PC Andy Currie have been completing visits to local vulnerable individuals in conjunction with some of our partner agencies. This has resulted in a crime being recorded with one of those individuals having been victim to an offence and various referrals & enquiries made to try and safeguard that person from further issues. This accounts for a large part of what the Neighbourhood Team do every week and can at times keep us from being visible in the community. It is time consuming work involving meetings (online and face to face) as we attempt to disrupt criminal activity and protect the individual/s concerned.

Your information is CRITICAL to this process - you are our eyes and ears as we can't be everywhere all the time. We live in one of the safest places in the UK and our strong community links have a big part to play in keeping it that way.
