Police investigating reports of a serious assault in Plymouth on Tuesday 24 January are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. Officers were called just before 9.30pm to reports that a man had had been stabbed in the street near Harvey Avenue and Radford Avenue, in Prince Rock, Plymouth, with the incident believed to have taken place between 9pm and 9.15pm. It was reported that three male suspects, unknown to the victim, attacked him, stole cash and left in the direction of Exeter Street. The victim, a man in his 30s, received a number of knife wounds. He was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries and has now been discharged. Residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area as enquiries continue. Officers are investigating and appealing to anyone who may have seen the incident to contact them and would particularly like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage.
