Hello to you all On Monday 23 January 2023, a national week of action starts to reinforce the importance of Neighbourhood Police fostering close relationships with our communities. Neighbourhood policing officers strive to make life better and safer for everyone in the communities they serve. This week we will be highlighting the vital work that our local policing teams and volunteers do to protect the public and keep people safe.
The key areas of focus for this week are: • Early Intervention to reduce Crime and ASB
• Problem Solving to prevent Crime and ASB
• Improving Trust and Confidence in Policing Local activity in support of this week of action has been planned around early intervention and prevention of crime and ASB. It is so important to us that you continue to report crime, incidents of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and tell us what matters most to you so we can continue to serve you in the best way possible. Crime data shows us that Plymouth has bucked the national trend with a reduction in crime over the last 12mths which is fantastic news. There are various opportunities to meet and speak to your local teams during the week with some listed below.
