Keyham Community Policing Team - Monthly update

July saw another productive month for The Keyham Community Policing Team (KCPT) with over 50 Community Engagement activities undertaken including lots and lots of Highly Visible Foot Patrol of Keyham's hotspots and greenspaces. The team also had the pleasure of taking part in events at each of the schools in the area including College Rd Primary Summer Fair, Keyham Barton Sports Day, a 'pop-up police surgery' at Drake Primary and managed to wish the children of Ford Primary a great summer on the last day of term.

The team also joined the St Levan Park Summer Party and the Wolseley Trust Summer Party, as well as joining young people from PL2 on a behind the scenes tour of Sail GP thanks to the Wolseley Trust!

As you can see, some amazing activities are taking place in the area and the KCPT are always keen to join in, say hello, and see how people from the area are feeling.

But it is not all fun and games, the team continue to identify and assist Vulnerable people in the area, we have turfed out some drug dealers hopefully not to be seen again, and we continue to fight vehicle crime  - please make sure you keep your cars locked and you place extra security on your motorbikes!

The great news is thanks to the strength of the community crime and reported incidents remain very low.

Looking ahead the team will be out and about getting involved in as many of the amazing summer activities put on in the area and we will continue to be present in the public spaces and greenspaces, and the whole team will working on the days around the 12 month Anniversary of the Keyham incident - on hand to engage with the local community and assist anyone who may need some support.

We would like to remind all of you of the Plymouth Together website which provides details on support and help available, information on the community hub, fundraising, and events in the area. If you require support or want to know what is happening locally, please check it out! www.plymouthtogether.co.uk

We wish everyone a safe and peaceful summer
