Witnesses sought after arson attack, St Just

Police were called to an incident in Higher Gews Close, St Just, Penzance, where a vehicle had been deliberately set on fire outside of a residential property between 1am and 2.30am on Wednesday 11 June 2025. 

Fire service and police attended, the fire was extinguished without any injuries, but the residential property the vehicle was parked outside of was occupied with a young family. 

DS Jon Dash said: “We, the police, recognise the seriousness of this offence, where the lives of a young family and other members of the public were put in danger. We are asking for the residents of all of St Just for their assistance in bringing this offender to justice.”
