On Thursday 5th June 2025 a male was arrested by police on Eastcliffe Road, Par for being drunk and disorderly in a public place following reports of him being disorderly, being abusive to members of the public and obstructing traffic. He was further arrested for misuse of the 999 call system after being identified as making numerous nuisance calls to police throughout May 2025 which may have delayed call handlers in receiving genuine emergency calls. He was charged and remanded to court for these offences.

The Neighbourhood Team would like to pass their thanks to members of the public who came to the assistance of the arresting officer who was initially single crewed when he located the male.
