We are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a fatal road traffic collision in Plymouth.

At around 10.50am on Tuesday 20 May, emergency services were called to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a red coloured Mercedes and a red Honda motorcycle on Kings Road.

Sadly, the motorcycle rider, a local man in his 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The road was closed whilst a forensic examination of the scene took place. Officers would like to thank members of the public for their patience whilst the road remained closed.
