Good afternoon,
This is my first DC Alert message, so this will be a brief update on some of our patrols today in the area, as well as an introduction from myself.
My name is PC Jack Combellack, I'm the new Carbis Bay and Lelant Neighbourhood Beat Manager, though I also cover St Ives with PC Darren Saint. I've served around 8 years as a full time officer, all of which has been spent in front line policing. Just over 4 years of that I spent in Wiltshire - in Salisbury and Marlborough, before I transferred back home to Devon and Cornwall Police. Before joining the Police as a PC I was a Special Constable (Volunteer Police Officer) in the Helston area and worked as a Cattle Farmer. You are likely to see me out on foot patrolling the local area, so please feel free to stop me and say hello anytime you see me, and I would be happy to discuss any concerns or problems you may have.
Today Darren and I have been conducting patrols around the St Ives and Carbis Bay areas, including several school visits and time on foot patrol around St Ives, along with several other premises visits. Yesterday evening we both conducted patrols on foot of St Ives and attended the local Town Council meeting.
I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can while I'm out and about in your area.
Many thanks, Jack Combellack
