Sgt Pearce headed out on Thursday 15th May on his E-bike to patrol Truro City centre. 5 miles in total covered and a number of schools visited. One driver reported for using her mobile phone whilst driving through a school drop off area. This is highly dangerous and could lead to a child being seriously injured. 

Using your mobile phone whilst driving can incur 6 points on your licence and fine and can be extremely distracting for the driver. Its simply not worth it. Put your phone away. Even in slow moving or stationary traffic.
