We were called to the B3374 near Rosevear, Bugle at 6.35pm on Wednesday 14 May following a collision involving a car and a motorbike.

The motorbike rider, a 19-year-old man from Bugle, was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers.

Police would like to thank the public with their assistance and patience whilst a forensic examination of the scene took place during the evening.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dash cam, who they are not already aware of, to please get in contact via 101 quoting log 703 of 14/05/25.

Devon & Cornwall Police has made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to prior police contact with the motorcyclist.
