Officers from Newquay Police and the Cornwall Neighbourhood Support Team have arrested a 16-year-old male in connection with a recent series of assaults and thefts in the Newquay town area. This follows a pattern of anti-social behaviour within the town over recent weeks. Officers are now working hard to progress the investigation and the suspect remains in custody at this time. We would like to remind members of the public not to speculate over the identity of the suspect, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
