Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a report of an assault on a man in Camborne. Officers are investigating an incident which took place at around 4pm on Saturday 10 May in the Cot Road and Tehidy Woods area. They would in particular like to trace two men seen in the immediate area at that time. The first suspect is described as a white male, aged between 30 and 40, 5ft 10in tall, of an athletic build with a scruffy beard. He was wearing a black beanie hat, a camouflaged jacket, camouflaged trousers and black gloves. The second suspect is described as a white male, aged around 50, 6ft tall, of heavy build with a beard and tattoos on his arms, a receding hairline and was wearing a T-shirt. Officers are also appealing to the public for any relevant dash-cam footage from passing vehicles at the time of the incident which may feature the men described.
