We have received reports of burglaries and attempted burglaries to retail businesses in the South Devon area recently, the burglaries have taken place sometime in the late evening/early morning.

The suspects are targeting tills and security boxes.  We ask for businesses to be vigilant, remove cash daily and review security. 

Please report suspicious activity on 101, no matter how minor, suspicious circumstances might for instance involve someone scoping out the premises or visiting during opening hours and paying attention to any CCTV or alarm systems, please make a note of descriptions and any vehicle registrations seen. Alarm systems unexpectedly malfunctioning may indicate preparatory work by the suspects and should be investigated promptly.
