Concerns have been raised about the speed of vehicles and drivers using mobile phones on the A361 through Braunton, Tutor Police officers including new student officers held a traffic opp in the village targeting these issues including the non wearing of seatbelts.

These are 3 contributory factors for death or serious injury on our roads. The officers stopped 10 vehicles who were dealt with for various offences. 

Our Community Speed Watch team also held a session targeting speeding vehicles on the same stretch of road. They recorded six drivers for exceeding the 30mph speed limit and all the registered keepers of these vehicles will receive notification by letter over the coming days.
