Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following an assault in Plymouth.

The incident took place on Thursday 13 February between 11am and 11.30am at the traffic lights on Forder Valley Road/Novorossiysk Road junction, opposite the Platinum Parkway.

It was reported that a male lorry driver walked over to the driver of a red Vauxhall Crossland, a woman in her 70s, while she was sat in her car by herself stationary at a red light.

The suspect then spat in the woman’s face before getting back in his lorry and leaving the scene.
