With the New Year has come a first real cold snap of the winter season, and with weather warnings for snow in place over the weekend, it seems a good time to ask the communities of Teignbridge to come together. Please over the next few days keep an eye out for vulnerable friends and neighbours! Pay them a visit and ensure they have sufficient food and heat. The cold weather protocol is in place so if you see anyone sleeping on the streets please report to Teignbridge Council who will be able to find accommodation for them. Also, please ensure any travel is absolutely necessary as we don't want people getting stuck out in snow and poor weather adding extra stress and strain to the emergency services!
