Shed Break-in Bideford

Overnight between the 17/12/24 - 18/12/24 a number of sheds have been broken in to from an Allotment site in Buckland Road Bideford. Entry was gained by breaking locks and hinges, and various power and garden tools have been taken.

To assist in protecting your property we have the following suggestions:

• Ensure shed is locked and secured. It’s worth having a good padlock on the door with no exposed screws.

• Consider marking your property.

• Consider CCTV, PIR lighting, or shed alarms.

• On identifiable items, mark it and register it, note your serial number, how and where you have marked it, the cost and description of the item and register it on www.immobilise.com

• Be vigilant, if you see suspicious vehicles or people note down registration number and any description of vehicles and people and report to the police. Call 999 in an emergency or 101 non emergency.

If you have any information about these shed break-ins please call 101 and quote Log 334 of the 18/12/24.
