Storm Darragh

Good morning all,

Many of us have likely had a restless sleep due to Storm Darragh which has come to the UK, many across our region would also have received the emergency alert last night advising of the risk associated with this storm which can include debris, fallen trees and strong winds!

Whilst it may seem calm out there at this moment in time we still have in place an Amber warning for strong winds till at least 2100 (9PM) this evening.

We are currently dealing with numerous trees down across our road, landslides and general debris which is going to cause disruption for many of those who are wanting to travel.

I would ask that you follow Met Office advice, please only travel if absolutely necessary. If you do feel that you travel is essential then please check your routes before you travel for any delays and leave sufficient time for a safe journey.

Kindest regards
