Emergency services were notified at around 12.30pm on Friday 26 July to reports of a two-vehicle collision on an unnamed road in Langford, Cullompton.

Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team, South West Ambulance Service, Devon Air Ambulance and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service attended the scene.

As a result of the incident, a 25-year-old man was conveyed to hospital with life changing injuries.

The collision involved an Audi and a Scania.

The road was closed for around five hours to allow for a forensic examination of the scene and recovery of the vehicles.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for any witnesses of the incident to come forward quoting incident number 333 26th July 2024.
