We have been made aware of a scam involving the advertising of property for rent on Facebook, a recent report received is for a property located in Plymouth.

Persons have attended the property having already paid money for a deposit, expecting a viewing believing that they have signed contracts to move in. 

We advise persons looking for accommodation to be vigilant, do thorough research and do not pay money in advance without seeing the property first.
